Hi ejc, Thank you for your interesting inquiry. I do recognize family names you mention such as Olvers and Tamblyn as coming from the Beech Lake Pa area. I am a little bit familar with some of the Davey line that stayed in Honesdale, Wayne County Pa area. For example, three of my great-grandfather, William Davey's brothers stayed in that area but I can find no info on your Judson>Peter Davey line in my family charts. I have a little piece on Judson Davey and the Rev. War but I can't figure out which Peter Davey he (and you) belong to! Can you tell me who Peter Davey's (b 1801) father is or even further back? We aren't a subscriber to Ancestry right now or I could look at your family line. I'm assuming it is a private family tree out on Ancestry. Is it possible that your John Olver (b-1790) is a brother of the William Olver who married my great-grandfather William Davey's sister, Mary Davey? Does this sound familar? Mary Davey b 3 May 1815 d 24 Jul 1897 Iowa. She m Wm Oliver, b 8 Aug 1816 in Cornwall and d 9 May 1887 in Iowa. They married 14 Dec 1840 Pa.and came to Iowa abt 1860. Children's names are: George Wesley, Agnes, Sarah, Mary, Eliezer, and Estrom and there are some Olvers buried in the Baker Cemetery in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Here is my William Davey family: I have lots of wills and pictures of the Cornwall farms etc. if you happen to be related! My William didn't stay long in the Honsdale area after arriving from Cornwall England. Probably less than five years. His wife, Mary Jane Mitchell d in Honesdale in July of 1835 shortly after giving birth to my great-grandmother Mary Jane Davey Baker. I have never been able to locate a grave or death record on her in Wayne County. William and his parents, two brothers, and two children came across the prairie to Iowa in a covered-wagon pulled by oxen in 1838 and by 1839 had land just south of the Cedar River in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where he farmed until his death in 1880.
