I am seeking information about John William Ross who was born Jun 1838 in perhaps Jamestown or Dunkirk, NY. He married Mary Abigail Bush - b. June 1843 or 1853 in Wayne County.
they were married about 1871 in Gallilee. According to the Censuses they lived in Damascus from 1860 to 1910. John died in 1916. I don't know when Mary died, but she lived with their daughter Faith in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., MA from 1917 to 1923. John and Mary's children are Leon, Vernon, Edith, Howard, Herbert Lee, Ethel Violet, Harry Duane and Faith. Harry Duane was my grandfather. If anyone has information about this family I would love to hear from you.
