Thanks for your reply. My gg-grandfather Azom Preston shows up in Wayne County in 1820. Census records show that he was born in Vermont. He married Martha Glezen in what I believe was Wayne County. She is the daughter of James and Susan Glezen Sr. Azom & Martha had 3 children born in Wayne Co. before moving west and settling in Pike County, Indiana. I have just hit a road block with Azom and his parents. I feel that all those Preston's in that county must be related somehow.
