In Reply to: DEATH/ BURIAL OF "WALLOT" FAMILY, CHARLEROI by Reta Carrier of 2582

FOUND the marriage record:
On Feb 12, 1877 in Roux, Hainaut, Belgium
Emile WALOT, coalminer, resident of Roux, where he was also born on 17 Oct 1849, son of Philippe Joseph WALOT (who died in Roux on May 20, 1871) and of Marie Therese PARENT, homemaker, resident of Roux
Charlotte PETIT, homemaker, born at Forchies-la-Marche on September 6th, 1852, resident of Roux, daughter of Charles PETIT, coalminer and of Amelie HUBLART, both residents of Roux
Charles PETIT, 35, bride's brother
Alphonse LECOMTE, 27
Jacques JACOB, 68

the bride's parents said they didn't know how to sign but the bride and groom and everyone else signed the record/

Have the copy if you want it.
Just email me and I'll get it off to you

PS: If you are LDS (mormon) you can access these records on with your login. If you are not, I'll be happy to help or you can go to your nearest Family history Center and order the microfilms these records came from. Much easier than writing to Belgium
