I am researching the following surnames in Warren County: Logan, Morton, and Matteson/Mattison. They lived in the Spring Creek area. I have not been able to locate their headstones in the cemetery and don't know if they are in a private plot or if their stones weren't moved across the road when the others were. In particular I am looking for:
John Bean Logan b.19 Dec 1869 d.22 Feb 1931
Harriet Jane Morton Logan b.20 Nov. 1839 d.24 Oct. 1862
Harrison Morton b. 1812 in NY d.aft 1880 Erie Co.
Eliza Mattison Morton b. 1809 in Herkimer Co NY d.1862
(Parents of Alden, Harriet, Eli, William H.)
Samuel Morton b. 1786 or 1796 in Mass d. 1868 Spring Creek
(son of Hannah Dexter and Benjamin Morton Jr.)
Sarah Wyman Morton b. 1791 in Vt. d. 1882 in Spring Creek
(parents of Harrison, Stutely, Benjamin, Almon,
Louisa, Betsey, Dexter, Mary, Sylvester)
I believe that Samuel is related to the Mortons of Sugar Grove but haven't been able to "prove" the relationship.
