Henry J. Fleckenstein, 413 Water Street, Warren, died Wednesday Evening, Nov. 28, 1973, following an extended illness.
Born in Clarion, PA, son of the late Adam and Johanna Fleckenstein, he lived in Oil City, PA., for many years, before moving to Warren.
He Was employed as a salesman in Warren by the Pennsylvania Gas Company. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
His wife, Harriet B. Fleckenstein survives. Preceding him in death were two sisters, Margaret Faller and Sister M. Hildegund, five brothers, Ralph, Alphonse, George, Aloysus and Philip Flectenstein.
Visiting hours will not be observed according to the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be celebrated at the Inter-Faith Chapel, Warren State Hospital. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Harriet B. Walsh Fleckenstein, age 89, resident of the Rouse, Warren County home, died there Sunday morning, Sept. 24, 1995 following an extended illness.
A resident of the Rouse home since Dec. 5, 1983, she was born Sept. 1, 1906 in Erie, PA, daughter of the late Patrick and Delia McCarthy Walsh. A Warren resident most of her life, she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a former member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (Warren).
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Fleckenstein, on Nov. 28, 1973 whom she married Oct. 7, 1933 in Warren and by two sisters, Dorothy Walsh Newman and Virigina Walsh Templeton Young, a nephew, Frederick C. Templeton.
Surviving are three neices, Sally Norton, Denver Co: Marcia Damon, Chestnut Hill, MA: and Jeanne E. Newmaker, Dunham, NC: and several great nieces and nephews.
There will be not visitation. A mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Tuesday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. David J. Wilson, parochial vicar, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Church Educational Center Fund. The Donald E Lewis is in charge of arrangements
