John,

I'm not sure about a Catholic Church being where you said at anytime, there is one now up closer to Saybrook, but there is also a Greek Catholic Church in Sheffield, for the life of me I don't remember where its located, but seems to me it is located over near Church St.

The Catholic Cemetery in Sheffield is up on the hill with the Protestant Cemetery, one side of the road is Protestant the other Catholic. Its quite a large cemetery. I no longer live in Sheffield, but have relatives still living there so will ask to see if they remember a Catholic Church where you mention one.
