One of the Waters descendants from this line, Emory Beardsley Waters was an undertaker in the 1880's in Lock Haven, PA. Coincidentally, my greatgrandfather, William Weard Waters, lived there at the same time and had a son die in an accident; Emory Waters handled the funeral. I am wondering if somehow they were related - both being in the same town, same time, and connected through this funeral. Another coincidence is that William Waters was supposedly born in Clarion (1854) which isn't too far south from the Warren Co. PA area where the Waters' settled. William's parents were John and Mary Waters and there is a John Waters (of this Starling branch) listed b. 1827. Can you or anyone else confirm any info about this John, as it may be William's father?
