HI Robert,
Thanks for your reply to my query.
I guess I asked too soon before looking at my information. I had a great uncle Sylvanus Snyder, admited to Warren State Hosp. but it was after 1880 and he died in 1893.
I have been trying to find out where he was buried. I have had no luck. I contacted the hosp. and in turn they gave me Pa. Arhives where records were sent. Unfortunately they don't have them anymore.
I was told Sylvanus is not buried on the grounds of the hosp. and more than likely the family took him back home to be buried which is in Clarion Co., Pa. I can not find him anywhere. He was in the Civil War but the Vets. Affairs at Clarion Co. Court House doesn't have where he is buried either.
I thought by checking census I could find him in the Hosp. but like I said he didn't go in until 1880. Dying in 1893 and 1990 records burned I couldn't have found him anyway.
Thanks again,
Darla Kelly
