Hello,
Does anybody know how to go about researching a person who died while working on the Lake Shore R.R. in 1873? This person was William Barry who the son of my GGgrandmother Jullia Shehan Barry Welsh. He was age 17. Could there be any record of such an occurance that I could access and perhaps learn more information such as might appear on a death certificate? So far I have not been able to find an obituary or other documents. Only a monument in the cemetary in his memory.
