I am working on this. I have documentation (not verified or substantiated) that says this, but no actual proof. Those individuals that had researched J. Dietrich Wertz didn't search for the sons in cemeteries, record birth/death dates, etc. or if they did, they didn't publish that kind of information for him, his sons, and grandsons. That needs to be done, I intend to search for these families in the old cemeteries where I have they supposedly lived. I have a German research who found more on the ancestors of J. Dietrich Wertz in Germany. Since this is not my family, I didn't buy the data. Are you interested in this? If you are, I will put you in touch with some other Wertz descendants and the actual researcher in Germany. It took me over 20 years to find my immigrant ancestor's location in the Palatine! I hope one of the living descendants of Dietrich Wertz does purchase the additonal data, and it will probably get that family back to about 1600. You can email me at:
