Johann Georg Reinhard and his wife Eliza Margaretha ( ? ) came to America in 1752 aboard the Queen of Denmark, first settling in Lancaster Co Penn. They then moved into Berks Co, and over into Northumberland Co. For a while, their homeplace was in now what is Limestone Township, of Union Co, just west of Switzers or Lick Run, and just south of Road 235, and west of 304.Their homeplace was some 172 acres of the P. Zeller 300 acre grant, but the sons also owned adjoining or close by land in other grants, such as Peter Wolfes, etc.
All four of Johann Georg Reinhard sons would serve in the Rev War from here, George Jr, Frederick, Martin, and Jacob.
After the war they would live here, Cumberland Co, and adjoining areas. All except Martin, who would move to Butler County Ohio, and die there 1841.
Martin was my 4th Great Grandfather.
