Dear Barbara,

Nanty Glo is in Cambria County. I suspect Barkley would be Barclay, Bradford County which would've been a booming mining town at the time of the birth. In fact all of these regions had mining operations. I had GARLAND ancestors who lived in Arnot at one time and NORTHEY ancestors who were in Barclay and the descendants later lived in Cambria County following employment opportunities in the mines.

Perhaps you'd want to get a death certificate for Mary Wilson to determine the names of her parents.
