Thanks so much...I found him on the 1850 census with still another spelling....Lacceus Mallory...but no doubt he was same guy. Wish they had names on earlier census..but..well, his father was Nyram Mallory (Malloroy) who served in the Rev War but that's all I know going back in time. (That is from obit of son James who married Sarah McIntyre.) I have managed to find a good number of descendants... Zach was one of the first Justice of the Peace in Westfield Twp. Many time the surname was also spelled Malloroy....I know of a line of Mallorys in Ct who also carried the Malloroy spelling..including a Zaccheus, but I have been unable to connect him...or Nyram...though I have a Niram (Adonirum) in by file born 1766 Ct...just can't find a son Zaccheus born to him. Thanks again for your help. I am now looking for an Oliver Mallory b 1827 PA living in Jackson Twp, tioga Co 1850 with wife and child both from PA.
