Thank you for your response. It is very kind of you.

I do not know who Katherine Donnelly's parents were. What I do know is that Katherine was born about 1849 and married a Michael Flaherty/Flanaty/Flarity( I've seen all three spellings in census records). Michael Flaherty may have had a father named Thos Flaherty.

Michael and Katherine had Martin, Edward, James, Lena and Gertrude as children and I've heard they were from the Susquehannah area before moving to Chicago presumable sometime around 1892 - 1900. As of the 1900 census they were living in Chicago.
