Thanks for your update and checking the books out.

My ggg-grandfather (Seth Wheeler) lived in Troy, about 20 miles north. I am not sure if any of his descendants moved in that area.

The historical society is keeping tabs on this question and may be doing some research; so maybe something will come up.

Or perhaps someone else out there may have a clue on Wheelerville.
