Hi Pat, well, this is very interesting. I can find the Somerset Co. Flickingers who were Jacob and Mary who had 3 children Jacob, Samuel and Julies who were twins but Jacob the son was born Aug 3, 1795 and died "early". Samuel the son had a son Jacob but he died "single". Then there is a Jacob 1790-1825 and lived also in Somerset Co. and had land also in Bedford Co. right across the line. I can find no mention of Anna Stertz but as I said this book is hugh. If you are interested in having it I would be glad to give it to you just for postage. Give me an email at my email address graybill_alg@hughes.net and we can work something out. It is doing me no good at all so far and I've had it since 1990. It is a reprint of the original done in 1927. You may be able to make some connections that I'm not finding easily but there is much background on the Flickengers.
