My John Stahl served in the Rev. War as well and in 1793 settled in Turbot (now Lewis) Twp., upper Northumberland Co., PA. He came from Upper Milford Twp., Lehigh Co., PA and a son of Jacob Stahl who came to this country from Lambsheim, Germany in 1738.

I am interested to know more about your John Stahl and your roots.

Here is my website that has some notes on my Stahls.

Some of the Union Co. Stahls are relatives of mine....Philip Stahl, a brother to my John, settled in White Deer Twp.

The Adam Stahl Mennonite Snyder Co. line doesn't appear to be related to my line since my Stahl's were German Reform and we don't have Adam in our records. Yours sounds promising. Can you tell me more?
