Yes, after 8 years I've discovered a bit more about the Longs. Unfortunately, I haven't run across your Elias, but I can give you some names to play with.
Francis Long Sr. was b. c. 1770 in Lehigh Co, son of Peter Long (or Lang) and Anna Elizabeth. In 1790, he resided in Upper Milford Twp, Northampton Co. In 1800, he was in Beaver, Northumberland Co, and in 1810 he was in Centre Twp, Northumberland. Francis m. Christina Hachenberg, d. of Johann Peter Hachenberg and Anna Elizabeth Siphers. Christina's sister, Catharine, m. a Peter Long; I haven't established a connection with Francis yet, but it's probable.
Francis Long and Christina Hachenberg had 10 children: Francis Jr. (the father of my Catherine), Mary, Catherine, John, Elizabeth, George, Peter, Christina, Magdalene, and Hannah. Francis Sr. died 23 Oct 1826 in Union Co (which had been sliced off Northumberland Co.); Christina d. c. 1823. Their daughter Catherine m. Michael Nerhood.
Francis Long Jr., b. 31 Oct 1789 in Northumberland Co, d. 13 Jul 1878 in Franklin, Snyder Co. He was married at least twice: Susanna, b. 1795, d. c. 1854, and Maria, widow of Emanuel Sassaman. Francis and Maria m. 31 Oct 1854. She died 25 Dec 1879 in Franklin, Snyder Co.
