You probably have found this out, since it's been 8 years since this post. In a Snyder county book I have it says that Francis Long was a farmer in 1814 in Cnetre township. The book is "A look at Snyder County before the 20th century". Written by Jimmy A Shaffer. I believe I purchased it the Snyder County Historical Society. I am researching Elias A.Long b 1831. Trying to figure out his parents.
