I have now collected a great deal of information on my family and my wife's family in Central PA, including Columbia, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Centre & Northampton counties. There's 1200+ 'related' people in this tree, covering 40+ surnames, and I was wondering where to go from here....
I heard a rumor of a professor from Susquehanna University or Bucknell University taking genealogy information from area residents -- any truth to the rumors? Will this information ever be used/published? Would my information help?
Additionally, are there are any professional resources for the publishing of this type of family tree? Including my dad's side, I now have 1700 individuals -- with another 250-400 to add (handwriteen notes) -- how can I get this info out to others who want it?
