I suggest getting Thomas and Elizabeth's death certificates which the Pennsylvania State Archives should have. I also suggest getting their obituaries which may be a little tricky since they lived out in the country and it's hard to be sure which newspaper they would have appeared in. Hazleton is the nearest large city but their obits could have been printed in newspapers in Berwick, Mahanoy City or Shenandoah. Check with the Luzerne County, Columbia County, Schuylkill County Historical Societies and the of Northeast Pennsylvania Genealogical Society.

The death certificates and obits should list their parents and their obits might list surviving siblings which can be a BIG help.

Also check with the church they were members of to see what they have on them in their records. If you don't know which church they belonged to their obits probably list it.
