My great-great grandfather, William Howells was born in England and came to PA in 1973 w/ his wife and a child. He became a coal miner and went on to have 8 more children in Saint Clair, PA. Here is the information I have:
William Howells b. Jan 1847 married Harriett (nee unknown) b. Apr 1850
children:
George Howells b. 1868
Infant Howells died before 1900
Sarah A Howells b. 1873
William Howells b. Feb 21, 1878
Levi Abraham Howells b. Apr 13, 1800 (married Caroline ?)
Charles Abraham Howells b. Feb 28, 1882
Laura Howells b. Sep 1884
Virginia Howells b. Aug 1886
Walter Russel Howells b. Jan 15, 1891 (married Margaret Beaumont)
Walter Russel Howells is my Great-grandfather. He and Margaret went on to have 8 children of their own including Everett Russell Howell(s), my grandfather.
