Based on current research, this person is probably Abraham Roosa Quick, son of Jacobus Quick IV and Sarah Roosa of Ulster Co., NY (both died in Caroline, Tompkins Co., NY). Abraham was therefore born March of 1812. According to her death certificate, his wife was Julia Ann Springer, b. 1822 in NY State, d. 1899 in Montcalm Co., MI. The Quicks lived in Potter Co. until 1865 or so, and then removed to Saginaw Michigan. Dau. Julia Ann married Isaac F. Dodge (b. NY) in 1865 and settled in Lowell Village, Ionia Co., MI by 1870, then moved to Gowen Village, Montcalm Co., MI by 1880. Younger Dau. Francis worked as a clerk in Isaac's dry good s store until 1881, when she married Charles H. Hall in Gowen and then stayed in Montcalm Co. from then on. Son William is in Saginaw, single in 1880 census. Dau Mary Amelia may have married Daniel Reeder in 1871 and settled in Traverse City, MI. I hope this data helps someone. If anyone has additional info, I would appreciate receiving it.
