I am seeking any information on my g-g-g grandfather and family. Abraham R Quick (b. 1812) and his wife July Ann (b. 1822)were both born in New York State but by 1845 had removed to Allegany Twp, Potter Co., PA (Federal 1850 & 1860 Census). All of their children were born in Potter County. He was a farmer. After about 1865 they removed to Saginaw, Michigan, where Abraham worked in a saw mill. (1870 census). By 1880 they had removed south to Kent Co., Spencer Twp., Michigan. (1880 census). Abraham's daughter Eunice Adelaid married Aris R Haskins in Saginaw July 20, 1870. They also removed to the village of Gowen, Michigan, in Montcalm twp., Montaclam Co., Michigan. Gowen lies on the border of the two counties and the two townships. Any help would be appreciated in tracing the roots back in time. Thanks!!
