-History of PotMaxon & Eter County, PA

I am looking for someone who may have access to The History of Potter County. I have a note in my information that Maxon Lamphere (wife Eunice Parmenter) is mentioned in that book. Lamphere could be spelled in a variety of ways-Lanphere, Lamphier, Lanphier, etc. I would be so grateful if someone could locate this information for me. Of course, I would be willing to reimburse copy costs.

I am also interested in hearing from anyone who might know of this family. I'm not sure when they arrived in Potter County from Allegany County, New York, but were there before 1826. I'm also not sure when they left-it was after 1849, and by 1853 they were in LaCrosse County, Wisconsin. I also think this family were 7th Day Adventists.

They had the following children: Amy, Lovenia, Lucinda, Eunice, David, Harriet, Maxon, Margaret, Hiram and Martha, I think all were born in Potter County.

Thanks so much. If anyone can help me out, please contact me privately at
