Hi David,

Thank you for making my 2011 year end on a good note!

Andrew and Mary (Gutheil) Biermann are my third great grandparents. In fact, my mother's maiden name is Bierman and her dad was John who also went by Jack. This is how are direct line from Andrew:

Andrew Biermann (b-16 Feb 1817 in Niedermoschel, Germany d-Sep 1879 Union Township, Luzerne County, PA)

John Bierman (b-17 M ar 1849 Lackawaxan, PA d-26 May 1923 Kingston, Luzerne County, PA)

Edward Bierman (b-1 Jan 1872 Shickshinny, Luzerne County, PA d-1 Sep 1948 Amherst, Lorain County, PA)

John "Jack" Bierman (b-1 Feb 1896 Kingston, Luzerne County, PA d- 20 nov 1961) - This is my grandfather through a second marriage.

Mother: Lois Bierman still living.

My sister and I would enjoy sharing what we have on the family. We have visited Shickshinny several times and went to Niedermoschel Germany in 2008. While we don't have a lot of family photos, we do have extensive information on this family. Please contact us using our e-mail address familytraker@aol.com to exchange all the information.

My sister Sherry added a photo of Amos Bierman's headstone on Find a Grave. Hope to hear from you very soon.

Happy New Year!
Cindy
