Westbrooks of Blooming Grove, Pike, PA

Last spring a diary from 1876 written by a 16 year old Westbrook boy in Blooming Grove was found in the back of Solomon Westbrook's earlier ledger from Dingman's Ferry from the 1830's.

I have transcribed and published it.
There are many people mentioned in the diary including the surnames: Ansley, Biddis, Broadhead, Courtright, Crissman, Cudeback, Decker, Dingman, Eldred,Gumble, Hatton, Hazen, Kellam, Kimble, Kleinhans, Lord, Nice, Pellet, Quick,
Rolison, Van Etten, Van Gorder, Vennie and Young.
