HEATER's IN PIKE COUNTY

I'm seeking information about David Heater, b. 1833 in Pike County; died 1920 in Sawkill, Ulster County, NY. He is my great-grandfather. The 1850 U.S. census for Westfall Township shows him living the same household as Joseph Heater, b. 1820 in PA. Were they brothers? I have been trying to find out about his family for years. Any information out there? I have searched the censuses for the years 1810 through 1920, but without some more information I don't know if any of the Heater folks listed are related to David. I know that he lived with my grandfather Albert Culverwell and his wife Lillian Heater in 1910 in Port Jervis, NY, and that he died while living with his daughter Clara and her family in 1920.
