Records are somewhat confusing because WHR Langridge I's mother has a fairly distinctive given name, Marguerite Janet. (I've only seen her name (handwritten) once. One of WHR Langridge I's daughters is also named Marguerite.) What's been handed down by word of mouth is that she was related to the family that founded the Smithsonian.

Thank you. I've been given some excellent leads by everyone and have been reminded that I should be more careful to review records that I'm certain of, such as the 1920 passport application.
