Vanderlindens of Philadelphia

Hi,
I need some help looking for info for Vanderlinden's of Philly PA/Kingston, NY:

John or Johan Vanderlinden born about 1868 in Holland arrived in America 1905 in New York

his wife;

Josephine born about 1874 Antwerp, Belgium
(also looking for her maiden name/family members)

their children;

Elizabeth b. 1906 in NY; had a son Francis born Sept. 8, 1921 by a man named Francisco Gonzales, but I find no marriage record; 1930 Federal Census indicates she married an English immigrant named Anthony Grome in Philadelphia, PA circa 1924; can't find this record either. Nor do I find him entering the USA under that name.
I did find a marriage record index listing of Elizabeth Vanderlinden marrying William J Kiersznowski in Philly, 1944, but no way to know if this is the same Elizabeth as there is no age or address info listed.

Joseph b.1908 in NY

Harry b. 1910/1 in NY- found in SS death index listing, but can't confirm this is him - Mount Holly, NJ 1987- an obit might help to verify
I believe he married a woman named Eva Verpecinskas in Philadelphia, 1937

Anna b. 1919/20 in NJ but not sure where

I'm also struggling to find Anthony Grome's info.

I have him on just 1 census record where it seems to display mistaken information. It indicates his last name as Grom or Grone. It says he's from England. However, family history indicates to me he is Italian as does the neighborhood he's in in Philly. The Census report seems to indicate a high number of Italians on it. In addition to this my Grandfather's death cert also indicates his (step)Father, Anthony was Italian. That's not to say he can't be an Italian living in England that came to America, just that it seemed less likely. I only know he arrived in America in 1915 according to the census report, and word was in the family that he may have changed his name by one or more letters upon arrival.

My Grandfather's father was actually a completely different guy. His name was Francisco Gonzales according to the SS application my Grandfather filled out in 1938.

On the same 1930 census I mentioned earlier I find Anthony Grom/Grone, with wife Elizabeth and Daughter Frances. Frances in misidentified as a Daughter; it should actually read Francis and he is a Son. The census also states Elizabeth's Father is from Belgium and mother from Ireland, it should read Father from Holland and Mother from Belgium. Francis' father is listed as being from Spain. We all agree he was Spanish, but we're not sure if he's from Spain, he could also be Cuban. We do not know how old he was, or when he came to America. Though I ordered a birth cert, all I was given was the same info I entered on the request form. I could've written Mickey Mouse and that's what they would have sent me back.
My Grandfather's mother would have been just 16 at the time of his birth, but pregnant at 15, so Francisco may be an equally aged teenager she met in school. Given that she named my Grandfather after him, I believe they were at least romantically involved, although within two years of my Grandfather's birth they were apart and she married Anthony Grome when she was 17 & Anthony was 22, at least, if the census is to be believed. I don't believe she ever married Gonzales as my Grandfather kept Vanderlinden as his last name until he changed it to Grome as he always considered Anthony to be his 'real' father and later changed his last name from Vanderlinden to Grome.

Still I would like to know more about my actual great grandfather Francisco Gonzales, so if anyone can find his details too I'd appreciate it.

Additional Info:

The family seemed to live between south 5th street and South 9th street for a good 20+ years before my Grand Father Francis married a local Philly girl, Tabb, from South 5th street and moved to Brooklyn circa 1942.

They also appear here:

New York Passenger Lists, 1820-1957
Name: Johan & Josephine Vanderlinden
Arrival Date: 21 Oct 1939
Indicating a residence at 770 South 5th Street Philly, PA

1910 Census showing the Vanderlinden family living in Kingston, NY with John, Josephine, and two youngest children Elizabeth & Joseph at 61 Newkirk Avenue

1930 Census showing the Vanderlinden family living in Philly, PA with John, Josephine, and two oldest children Harry & Anna at 770 South 5th Street

1930 Census showing the Grome family living in Philly, PA
with Anthony, Elizabeth and child Francis at 607 South 9th Street
I hope someone with genealogy talent can put this picture together for me.
I'm at a loss otherwise.

Thanks
Rich Grome
