I did see that 1841 census right after I sent the info off on the pension records.

I just did some research on someone this past week who listed her husband as living with her when they were separated (he is listed just outside Philadelphia in the same census year). In the following census, she lists herself as a widow although her separated spouse is still alive. After she dies, several of the children go to live with him.
I realize that this the Susan Welch Wallin was very unlikely to be yours still. Anyhow, it was a fun search.
