Eliza Jane Gordon (b 4/20/1830) according to the 1900 census immigrated in 1845 to Philadelphia, PA. She was married to James Walker 6/21/1849 in Philadelphia. She had 2 children James b. 5/19/1850 and John b 12/7/1851. Eliza's husband died 11/22/1852. Eliza then married George Gordon Atwell 12/29/1853. The 1900 census has George immigrating in 1855, but that is obviously false. I believe both Eliza and George immigrated between 1845 and 1850 into the Port of Philadelphia. Also in the family bible it lists the death of a Mary Jane Gordon 7/16/1858 at 40 years of age. This could be Eliza's mother (with wrong age) or a sister. I am hoping someone can find the immigration records for Eliza Jane Gordon or George Gordon Atwell. Both came from Ireland. Thank you for any help. Jim
