BOYLES & FOY ( E ) Family
Posted by: Laurie (ID *****4561) Date: December 03, 2003 at 15:41:46

Need help - please !
Need information on The BOYLES Family that lived in Centre Twp in the 1800's & upwards. Also if possible need the parentage of Zorah A. BOYLES, who was born in New Bloomfield, Pa. on April 19, 1850.
She married Isaiah Charles FOYE in the late 1860's. He was a veteran of the Civil War and had served in the 47th Regiment Company H , he enlisted either at Newport or Harrisburg, Pa., as a Private then was promoted to corporal. He served from 1861 to 1865 and ended his military career as a Sargent.
The FOYE family were Presbyterian. They lived in 1870 in New Bloomfield, Perry Co., Pa and then moved to Renovo, Clinton Co., Pa and was there when the 1880 census was taken. Later they moved to Erie, Pa.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Laurie
