I would have despaired of ever finding any record relating to Mifflinville. It is an out of the way place even today--between Bloomsburg and Berwick on the Susquehanna River.

Wolf is a pretty common name; and that's also true for that area, albeit not always the same spelling. I went to high school with at least one way back in the early 1960's.

PA did not have statewide recording of births until 1906. By luck however the Mormon Family History Library has a book of church records for a union Lutheran-Reformed Church in Mifflinville for the years 1792-1873. It does not appear to have been microfilmed. So you may have to pay one of their researchers or someone else to look through the book. The Columbia County Historical Society in Bloomsburg may also prove helpful.
