Irving P. Pearson was the son of Grover R. and Mary Pearson as shown in the 1930 census as follows:

1930-New York-New York County-Manhattan Boro:
PEARSON: Grover R., head, 43, born in Indiana; Mary, wife, 44, born in Ireland; Lawrence G., son, 11 & 6 months, born in New York; George F., son, 7, born in New York; Irving P., son, 6 & 8 months, born in New York; also living with them is Sarah Ruddy, sister, 48, born in Ireland.
The year of immagration for Mary was 1903 and for Sarah Ruddy 1898. Grover's occupation - Recruiting for US Navy.

Grover R. Pearson was the son of Robert and Laura Pearson as shown in the 1900 census as follows:

1900-Indiana-Carroll County-Dear Creek Township:
PEARSON: Robert, head, 45, born Sept. 1854 in Ohio; Laura, wife, 46, born Mar. 1864 in Ohio; William, son, 22, born Dec. 1877 in Indiana; Clarence, son, 19, born Aug. 1880 in Indiana; Eli, son, 17, born Mar. 1883 in Indiana; Grover, son, 15, born May 1885 in Indiana; Scott, son, 10, born Mar. 1890 in Indiana; Jennie, daughter, 12, born Sept. 1887 in Indiana.
Robert's occupation was a farmer.
