Jewish Community in Montour - 1880's

Hello All,
I'm looking for information regarding the Jewish community in Montour County during the 1880s. My great-grandfather, Joseph Zeisler, and his family lived there in 1883, and I believe that he may have been a Rabbi.

Thanks for any assistance!
