According to Daniel's Obituary her surname is Silfies
she is listed as Mrs. Ainvesta (obvious a typo) Silfies Smith. two sons; Milton and William and a daughter; Mrs. Edward Steitz and a sister Mrs. Charles Wasser are listed as survivors.

Alavesta's obituary lists one of her pallbearers as Claude Silfies.

1880 Census shows a Daniel age 19(which he would have been if is birth is after June in Eldred (Post Office Kunkletown) Mondroe County with Reuben and July (Julie??) Smith also a Silus and Rosa
1870 Reuben and Julia again in Eldred with
John, Franklin, Alvesta, DANIEL, Silas, and Rose
1860 Reuben and Julyann with John, Franklin, Alavest, DANIEL (age1) then a John Smith age 77 Maria age 73 and Henry age 47.

According to the records of St. Matthews in Kunkletown she is the daughter of William Franklin Silfies and Fayetta (Feyetta)Schmid Smith.

If you wish copies or source citations I can get those for you.
