Where to Write for a Monroe County Will?

I would like to know where I can write to get a copy of a will from 1855. I have an transcription of the will, but would like to get a copy of the original in order to compare signatures with another document.

Also, are there any old newspapers from this era that might have obituaries for folks who died in Jackson Township? And if so, any tips on how to view them. Does the historical society do this type of research?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
