Learn massacre-July 3, 1781

Does anyone know if there is a published account of the massacre of John Learn and some of his family which took place July 3, 1781 in Tannersville?
I have seen a couple of references to the affair, but wonder if there is something more detailed in any of the Monroe County History books.
John was my 5th gt.grandfather.
