I found information on the internet which states this man died in Derry Twp., Cumberland Co., PA. The Mifflin County pages state Derrty Twp. was the original township of Mifflin in 1767, but had previously been part of Cumberland County. It was named for the area in Ireland where many of the settlers had roots.

This man was the son of Andrew Donaldson, b. 1690 in Ireland. Jacob was married to a Janet ____ (b. about 1712 in PA), in 1733. She died in 1762.

Jacob and Janet were the parents of (among others), Margaret, who married as her second husband, Robert Orr, in 1761 in PA. Margaret was born in Derry (one paper states Lancaster Co.) in 1736; she died in 1824 in Mill Creek, Hamilton Co., Ohio.

Margaret and Robert were the parents of Isiah Orr, b. 1764 or 1773, in Cumberland, PA; died in 1830 in Butler Co., Ohio. He married Nancy Staggs about 1807 in Butler County.

I am interested in information on any of these people.
