Thanks so much for your response. I would definitely be interested in sharing information.

Unfortunately I don't have any documentation on the Dorman's immigration - the little bit I do have is from the old family Bible, which states a George Dorman had emigrated from England and was in the local militia by 1776.

I am also descended from the Bell family; my great-great-great Dorman grandfather married a Bell.
