Here is another Alexander Scott born in Mifflin Co PA circa 1811. Your Alexander is Alexander D. so this is probably not a match.

I have a William Alexander Scott of Pennsylvania in my tree. He married a woman named Matilda. Don't have a last name. He was born in 1811. Matilda in 1813. They have one son I know of James Harvey Scott born 12 Jan 1833 in Mifflin Co, Pa.

I myself am looking for a William Scott from PA. He had at least one child, a James Harvey Scott b 12 Jan 1833 in Mifflin Co. PA, James is my g g grandfather. My grandmother Ethel Scott told me that we were black Irish, which means we were scottish living in Ireland at some point in time. Has nothing to do with the skin color, these people were white. contact me at Saintsx6@aol.com
