I am looking for information pertaining to Jonathon Snouffer (1816 to 1895). He immigrated to the US from Germany around 1830. He settled in a part of Mifflin County around 1831, this area later became part of Juniata County. Where he became a milldigger and a limeburner. He married Sarah Peoples Johnson about 1845 in Centre County, Pa. (Sarah was born in Perry County, Pa.). Their children were Sally Anne, John Abraham, Caroline, William Lyon, Mary, Josaphine, David M., Nancy, and Margaret. Jonathan died Mar 31, 1895 at 70 years old, and is buried at Hillside Cemetery at McAlisterville, Juniata Co., PA. Sarah died on April 26, 1906 at 85 years of age, she is buried at a cemetary of the McAlisterville Lutheran Church, this cemetary may be Hillside, where Jonathon was buried.
