Sieglinde, I've read the passenger list you stated, and I think you may have misread the info.
His father is Imre, still in the homeland; he was going to his b/inlaw John VORTMAN in South Bethlehem PA [Lehigh/Northampton Counties]
There is a John VOORTMAN ae 25 b Germany in Lehigh Co, but he isn't married, and is living at home with his parents Dietrich & Mary. The 1910 census was taken May 7, 10, 13, & Ferencz would've arrived after these dates.

Without knowing what either name Ferencz was using, it's difficult to locate on later census.
Sorry, maybe someone else will have better luck.
