Is it possible he died in Italy?Is it possible Maria never married CROSA?
Check Ellis Island [free], as the writing is not great, and I can't make out the towns of birth.I obtained this from Ancestry.

Are you positive Mary/Greg were divorced?Both together 1930 Lackawanna Co PA; 1940 Maria widowed, Lackawanna, and no sign of Gregory anywhere 1940.Women often said they were widowed, as it was humiliating to be divorced, but since Greg not found it's possible she is widow.
