I am looking for information on James D. Arnold, born in 1841 in Pennsylvania. Arnold enlisted on April 27, 1861 as a member of the 11th Pennsylvania Reserve Veteran Corps during the American Civil War. He arrived in Australia in 1890 and his occupation was that of a carpenter and a laborer. His last residential address was in Brisbane, Queensland. His records reveal he died November 12, 1907 in hospital, but he does not appear on the Queensland death rolls. Any help you can provide on his birth, life, family, death and burial will be greatly appreciated. jamesmgray@bigpond.com
