Looking for Minor, Maner, Meiner, Miner Family Genealogy in PA.

Looking for my German Minor (and many others ways to spell it. I was wanting to know if anyone had a Minor who went to Va. or NC early? I am at a stand still on this line. I have a Paschal R. Minor b.@1796???and died @ 1845 in NC. I am thinking that they might have been in PA. early in the 1700's. Paschal Minor father and mother died young and his brother and sister were orphaned. Not been able to find who his father and mother was. The Minor family had ties to the Gobbel, Helmstetter, Snider families. Any information you might add to this family would greatly be appreciated.
