Genealogy Seminar St Peter and Paul Croatian Church Youngstown, OH
Date: Sunday 12:00 pm – 2:00pm – November 17, 2013
The SS Peter and Paul Roman Croatian Catholic Church in Youngstown Ohio proudly welcomes nationally recognized genealogist Robert Jerin to a seminar in the meeting area of the church on November 17, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Mr. Jerin has conducted workshops throughout the United States and Europe. He is a published author of multiple genealogical journals and has led heritage and history tours to Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia and Montenegro.
In this very interesting workshop, Mr. Jerin will address these questions:
Ever wondered how your family came to America and where they originated?
Have you heard that our ancestors could not speak English and that their names were changed at Ellis Island?
Have you tried to find information on your family and hit a brick wall?
If you answer to any of these is yes, then you will be interested in the presentation of “Where is Uncle Felix - finding our allusive ancestors”,
We will explore how to research old documents, which are now easier to locate than ever before.
Many examples of original documents will be used in his presentation.
Please contact Sts. Peter and Paul for sign up and more details
