Thomas, thank you for the response. I have already collected all the information you posted, but here are some answers to the questions you asked...Frank Marino re-married in 1894 in DC to Cecelia Geraci. The census year in which Frances Paul Marino was living with his father was 1900 in DC. John P. Marino died in DC on Sept 19, 1936. I am starting to wonder whether Francis Paul Marino and John Paul Marino are one in the same. John Paul's death cert. states he was born in June of 1888, but his draft registration shows his birthdate as June of 1886 (which is the year of birth for Frances Paul Marino). That, coupled with the fact that in 1900 F. Paul Marino was listed in the Census with his father Frank and his new family, but not a thing has been found on him since, but John Paul Marino (who married in 1909 in DC) is shown working for his father as a clerk in his produce store makes me wonder if they are one in the same.

Since I originally posted, I received some information that Ellen "Payne" Marino may have passed away on 5-10-1920 in Philadelphia. It was listed as Ellenor Marino Certificate #64372 Philadelphia 5/10/1920. I'll be checking that out because that fits in with the time frame of when John Paul received the telegram informing him of her death.

Thanks again for your help!
